Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The Senior Manager Inventory acts as financial advisor and business partner inside the DP community, as well as towards product supply, purchasing, brand organization by providing fact-based data to enable and drive decision-making. He/she supports the head of DP HUB to build inventory targets, to track and monitor KPIs development and steer the business with on time and fact-based analysis.
In this role the Senior Manager Inventory provides guidance on health level of aged inventory as well as insights to connect the impact of inventory with OWC and cash. He/she also actively participate into IBP for the inventory part on a monthly basis. He/she covers a critical role in making sure EM inventory management is optimized and in building a governance framework for all clusters
Key Responsibilities:
Support the team in strategic planning as well as translating strategic business targets into tangible actionable plan
Ensure financial guidelines are respected and identify critical processes & advice solutions
Inspire new processes and reporting standards
Enable fact-based decision-making process by creating transparency on key performance indicators (Net Sales, volume, IDL, inventory year-end…)
Collaborate with DNA to improve reporting and analytical tools
Interact with main business partners to optimize inventory level in the market
Continuously looking for new solutions to improve inventory management overall.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Comprehensive business understanding of processes around inventory management
Challenger mindset towards Business Partners combined with customer orientation
Ability to operate cross-functionally
Excellent communication skills for persuasion and convincing others
Ability to work under pressure and in a very dynamic environment
Ability to think and act strategically
Excellent analytical skills, managing large data quantities from multiple sources
Prior experience in inventory management is a plus
Business fluency in English (written and spoken).
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
University degree in Business Administration/Finance/Controlling
Comprehensive understanding of system landscape (IBP, SAP, Power BI, Microstrategy, M-3 & master data systems)
8+ years working experience in Finance department/SCM.
