Job Purpose

To be responsible for all cash on delivery (COD) transactions involving deposit to safe and deposit all cash in CDM machine after daily reconciliation. Update finance on the daily reconciliation report. Coordinate with Last Mile supervisors for any discrepancy on deposit by driver. Maintaining deposit documents for audit purpose.

Responsibilities

People Management Roles and Responsibilities

• Collecting cash from Last Mile driver based on the COD order completed on the day verifying FarEye application and matching with report.

• Verifying cash physically as well as using cash counting machine and match with deposit slip and recording on the cash notebook.

• Arrange cash inside cash pouch on each driver’s handover and drop it into safe.

• Matching COD total amount with FarEye application for reconciliation.

• Ensure to match Cash on delivery (COD) orders report with Magento & Micro Strategy for relevant brands.

• Ensure to verify and match all the individual amount deposited by drivers during handover and report to duty supervisor if any discrepancies immediately.

• Segregate brand wise cash and deposit amount to CDM machine in their relevant accounts.

• Ensure to get deposit slip once deposited to CDM machine and forward reconciliation file along with scanned deposit slip to finance on daily basis.

• Ensure to report any issues (i.e.- seal bag full, variance during related to deposit) related to CDM machine to Loss & Prevention (LP) team, Trans guard & Finance immediately.

• Compliances of safety standards in cash handling.

• Ensure to report any issues with cash counting machine to duty Last Mile Manager.

• Ensure to keep record in filing method for all transaction for audit purpose.

Qualifications

Years of Experience 

• 2-3 years of experience in cash handling with knowledge of retail/Ecom  business transaction.

Knowledge and Skills 

• Computer Literacy.

• Highly organized with eye for details.

• Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills.
