Duty Manager

About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Duty Manager to join the Front Office team in Jumeirah Al Qasr. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
Represent management of the hotel outside regular office hours, overseeing front office colleagues during overnight shifts to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Ensure adherence to all relevant policies and procedures by front office colleagues.
Manage the JI loyalty program, including addressing pending points and conducting training sessions.
Attend daily handover briefings and departmental communication meetings.
Monitor daily booking situations and handle guest bookings in case of overbooking.
Maintain cleanliness of lobby and entrance areas, coordinating with Housekeeping, Lobby Ambassadors and Concierge as needed.
Assist team leaders with tasks such as checking registration cards and group check-ins.
Document major incidents and important guest feedback in the report.
Regularly check and maintain input standards (guest profiles, market, source, and channel codes), reporting any issues for improvement to the Assistant Front Office Manager.
Conduct appraisals and Bi-Monthly Feedback Sessions as directed by the Front Office Manager.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in English and a second language (Russian, Spanish, German, Arabic or French) is required for this role.
A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Duty Manager or 2 years' experience as a Team Leader in a reputed hospitality brand.
Working proficiency of Microsoft Office products, Opera PMS (Cloud), and HotSoS.
