Job Description
To oversee and lead Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) operations across UAE retail stores, ensuring a premium shopping experience through seamless Hard and Soft service delivery. The role focuses on maintaining asset value, ensuring 100% compliance with UAE local regulations, and managing regional teams to achieve operational excellence
Responsibilities
Operational Management (Hard & Soft Services)
• Hard Services: Oversee MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), HVAC maintenance, and civil works. Ensure all Critical Assets (Chillers, DBs, Fire Fighting systems, CCTV/Access Control systems.) undergo timely PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance).
• Soft Services: Manage daily cleaning standards, and specialized deep cleaning schedules.
• Pest Control: Ensure stores remain pest-free by monitoring vendor schedules and ensuring compliance with Dubai/ NE /Abu Dhabi Municipality standards.
• Security: Coordinate with security vendors to ensure guard deployment, mall security liaison.
Team Leadership & Regional Oversight
• Lead and mentor a team of 3 Regional Leads/Supervisors, ensuring standardized service delivery across all UAE territories.
• Conduct regular site audits and "Mystery Shopper" style facility inspections to maintain brand standards.
• Manage staff rosters, KPIs, and performance reviews for the regional facility team.
Vendor & Contract Management
• Supervise third-party IFM contractors, ensuring they adhere to SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and KPIs.
• Review service reports and validate invoices for work completed (LPO management).
• Assist in the tendering process for new service providers or specialized retail fit-out maintenance.
Compliance, Health & Safety (HSE)
• Ensure all stores meet Civil Defense and Municipality requirements (Fire safety certificates, grease trap cleaning, etc.).
• Implement and monitor health and safety protocols to ensure a "Zero Harm" environment for both staff and customers.
• Manage the DLP (Defect Liability Period) for new store openings and coordinate with project vendors for rectifications.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management and Engineering.
• 3–5years in FM, with at least 2 years in a Retail environment within the UAE.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC, Electrical systems, and UAE Municipality/Civil Defense regulations.
• Software: Proficiency in CAFM (Computer-Aided Facility Management) software and MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint).
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, "on-the-floor" problem-solving attitude, and excellent English communication (Arabic is a plus).
• Mobility: Valid UAE Driver’s License is mandatory for regional site visits
