ROLE SUMMARY

The Finance Executive is responsible for supporting financial operations, including reporting, accounting, cost tracking, and ensuring compliance across MAF Entertainment. They play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and preparing detailed financial reports. The position also involves assisting with internal and external audits, as well as supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes. Additionally, the Finance Executive works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely processing of financial data and adherence to company policies.



ROLE PROFILE

• Prepare cost reports, track expenses, and manage documentation to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and cost control.

• Assist with month-end closing activities by preparing payroll entries, verifying accounting deliverables, and supporting accrual and prepayment calculations.

• Support project and asset management by tracking expenses, maintaining the fixed asset register, and monitoring production cash flow accuracy.

• Monitor staff travel and expense claims to ensure compliance with internal policies and proper documentation.

• Maintain financial systems by entering and reviewing transactions, generating reports, and organizing records for audit readiness.

• Respond to audit requests by preparing schedules, ensuring policy compliance, and supporting internal control processes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, time management, problem-solving, and communication skills to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial tasks and cross-functional collaboration.

• Adapt to flexible working hours and travel requirements, while taking on additional responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager or Head of Department.

• Apply a proactive, analytical, and results-driven approach with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 0–2 years of relevant experience, preferably with professional certifications and a background in retail, entertainment, or hospitality industries.
