MAIN PURPOSE
The Events and PR Manager is responsible for enhancing brand visibility, strengthening client relationships, and driving media engagement through high-profile events and strategic PR initiatives. The role ensure all activations align with Panerai’s positioning while delivering measurable business impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Events:
Event Planning & Execution
Conceptualize and manage events and activations in the Middle East, India, South Africa and Turkey
Monitoring of event budget allocation
Regional monthly reporting for all activations, brand events and animations in the region
Marketing & Business Alignment
Ensure events and PR activities align with overall brand strategy, retail objectives and CRM objectives
Work closely with the Commercial Director and CRM Manager on events implementation
Performance & ROI tracking
Monitor event success and media impact through KPI’s, client feedback and coverage analysis
PR & Media Relations:
Drive and manage all press events and activations
PR campaign management including planning, execution and photo shoots
Press release management including dispatch, translations and PR angle
Interview planning with Panerai spokespersons
Press trip organization including title suggestions, booking tickets and coverage negotiations
Monthly coverage reporting with PR agency
PR budget monitoring
Product Placement
Seek of Local Celebrity/influencer product placement during key event, red carpet
Product placement in photoshoots
Influencers / Partnerships
Regional talents management – selection, campaign organization and optimization
Global talents support – with regional based ambassadors and FOBs (Jeremy Jauncey, Marlon du Toit, Hugo Philip)
Reputation management
When & if needed on a regional basis
Digital:
Social Media:
Planning yearly social media plan with HQ Communications team
Social media campaigns for all EB campaigns including planning and execution
Search:
Planning yearly media plan with HQ
Alignment on Keywords in English and Arabic
Digital Campaigns:
Programmatic campaigns including implementation, optimization and reporting
Dealers Visibility:
Retailers website and content management
Sharing assets with all markets
Translation of captions from English to Arabic
Sharing of digital assets with malls social media teams
Report and monitoring
Websites:
Product shots and website maintenance in the region
REQUIREMENTS
With 5-8 years of proven experience in the luxury retail sector
Strong network in luxury media, influencers and brand partners
Exceptional organization, communication and relationship building skills
Ability to work in a streamlined team, multitask and adapt to a fast paced environment
High level of creativity, attention to detail and strategic thinking
Quick thinking and adaptability to handle last-minute changes and unexpected challenges
Resilience and ability to work under pressure
Exceptional writing and editing skills in English and Arabic
