The job
Responsible for the management of the assigned brand portfolio, adapting brand strategy for the target market and maintaining brand integrity across all communications. Continuously monitoring marketing trends and competitive products while ensuring that the sales staff are well trained.
Job Description
Managing the overall responsibility of designated brands
Focusing on marketing (ATL/BTL) activations of the portfolio, to drive sales
Achieving sales target across brands & defined geographical coverage
Setting the annual brand budgets and developing the business & marketing plans
Tracking sales and developing contingency plans to cover up any shortfalls from the budget
Ordering merchandise based on sales forecasted annual/monthly basis
Managing stock and ensuring an appropriate stock to sales ratio and ideal stock location wise. Managing stock ageing
Overseeing inter-shop/location stock transfers
Handling pricing and merchandising of stocks of designated brands
Rolling out brand wise promotions
Participating in the working of retail staff incentives schemes based on brand sales
Liaising with brand Principals for product updates, new collections, merchandising tools and ordering
Monitoring market intelligence and suggesting appropriate sales strategies
Constantly surveying international and domestic markets for new and competing products
Participating in marketing activities involving events, campaigns and PR for each brand
Ensuring the retail sales staff are well trained on the brand knowledge
Visiting stores to ensure brand visibility /standards across retail formats. Managing the mono-brand POS for the brands
profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in business/ brand /marketing management or related streams
6-8 years of experience in brand management/buying roles, dealing with fashion brands/watches. Previous experience of handling large brand portfolios and operations across GCC would be an advantage
GCC experience is required
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) and presentation skills
Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on operations and business processes
Result oriented and a go-getter, energized by an entrepreneurial spirit
Enthusiastic, agile and well aware of trends
Strong interpersonal and networking skills
Well versed with MS Office, digital, social media, online marketing and related technology
Strong analytical ability to analyze data, consumer behavior and develop insights
Must have a valid UAE driving license
